EQ 2107
Power meter EQ 2107 has 144x144 mm front frame and 240 degree dial. It is the same as EQ 2207 (on photo), except it is bigger. The instrument operates on the Time Division Multiplication (TDM) method. It comprises current transformers, multipliers, a summing amplifier with a low voltage filter and a power supply unit. Input voltage defines frequency of the pulse train, the pulse width is proportional to input current. Average value of the pulse string voltage is proportional to the product of voltage and current. Two or three multipliers are built into two-or three-system meters. Their output signals are led to the summing amplifier and - via the low-voltage filter - to the measuring instrument with a moving coil. The instrument scale is calibrated in W or var, considering ratios of current and voltage transformers.
