Communication adapter MI 488 is used for connecting of the instruments with RS 485 communication on the Ethernet network. Through the Ethernet network instruments are connected to the computer. Signals are galvanically separated. Through the interfaces data are read from the instruments. Communication speed is up to 115.200 bps.




Connections:

  • Auxiliary supply – connected on connection terminals 13, 14

  • Ethernet connection – connected on 10/100 RJ45 connection terminal

  • RS 485 communication, up to 32 devices, line must be ended with 120 Ω resistor.
