Innovator of the third quarter
Innovativeness in Iskra MIS has gained a great impetus by setting a new system in 2008. In the first three quarters of this year, 80 useful suggestions were realised, which exceeds the greatest expectations.
In the last quarter, Jernej Bajželj became the innovator. He has made the greatest saving in the production of switches. Bajželj is employed in an incoming quality control. First he suggested to modify the thickness of lacquer coating on dynamo sheet, which entails a larger number of laminas until the next grinding of the extrusion tool. The second suggestion referred to the increase of a diameter of drums made of the same sheet. This increases a number of produced magnet packs in the same time period due to a smaller number of replacements.
Bajželj received a reward from Robert Srabotič, M. Sc., president of the board. Srabotič listened attentively to the innovator who told him about both suggestions and new ideas which have already been prepared but are not realised yet.
