Logistics is an indispensable part of the modern economy and a firm foundation for the whole economy. Many overhead travelling hoists, portal hoists and others used in ports, warehouses and logistic centres worldwide are equipped with our electrical equipment. Shelf warehouses are automated on a turnkey basis.
Electrical equipment and assembly of hoists and gantries:
Our range of electrical equipment is designed as control equipment for different types of bridge cranes, gantry cranes and hoists. Cranes and hoists equipped with Iskra MIS electrical equipment are suited to operation under ordinary as well as tough conditions. The product range comprises the electrical equipment required for operation directly on the cranes and hoists as well as by radio, manual, or automatic control. Cranes and hoists are equipped as turnkey projects. However, the installation itself does not mean that our services are finished for Iskra MIS also provides training for the operators as well as after-sale service. Our projects are granted an appropriate warranty as well. Our product range is not used to equip new hoists and cranes only but also to renovate used hoists and cranes in order to prolong their life and adjust them to the customer's requirements, thereby making them safer and more efficient. By automation of their operation, the possibility of exact positioning is improved as well.

KS 5 control consoles have been designed for installation in cranes and hoists. They feature of a left and right control panel and a folding seat and are intended for remote control of electric motor drives from one spot. They are used to control cranes, conveyors, excavators etc. The control panels comprise control switches with type NK 10 drive handles and switching
elements for 10 A continuous operation current and 500 V AC, 600 V DC nominal voltages. Other control and signaling elements can be installed on the panel covers if required.
Drives for control switches are available in the following versions:
- one-hand,
- two-hand,
- one-hand cross.
The maximum number of control posts is 6-0-6. The control panels are designed with an IP41 protection level. Options are available on request.

Warehousing automation:
Systems for automation of warehouse operation are designed and supplied as turnkey projects. The requirements are first studied together with the customer, after which the appropriate logistics, control and programming equipment are proposed. The equipment is then assembled, adjusted and set. Training for warehouse personnel is provided for as well. However, we provide services after the start-up as well.
Automation of high-bay warehouses makes it possible to commission the respective goods by the particular storage areas. The method of operation recommended for high frequency warehouses makes it possible for the warehouse manager to retrieve the required goods with a fork lift from the appropriate storage area. In this way, one employee can retrieve goods from up to ten positions per hour. Goods can also be handed out from the warehouse by automatic loading, commissioning at the predetermined posts and dispatch. The system permit commissioning of goods by delivery times or by priority.
Automation of warehouse operation is worth considering in particular when larger volumes of goods need to be dispatched
over a short period of time. Consequently, our system for automation of warehouse operation can be applied in:
- distribution centers,
- warehouses of semi-finished products,
- warehouses of finished products,
- wholesale operations,
- etc.
However, our product range also comprises programming equipment for control of conventional warehouse hoists. The monitoring system operates over a PC that is connected to sensors and activators on the hoist via a programmable logical control unit (PLC). On the PC, the programming equipment runs under Windows, with a simulation of the hoist operation
being displayed on the monitor.
The control program makes it possible to:
- follow the hoist position on the display,
- show defects,
- monitor the goods by type (code, data on the material, storage position),
- monitor the respective positions of storage areas,
- monitor the particular elements at the warehouse (barcode, storage position),
- monitor the elements in the warehouse by storage areas (a list of the elements at each storage area and their description),
- exportation of the data in other programs (ASCII files).
Orders can be entered and deleted as required. Prior to operation, the operator sets the system parameters such as the
limits, blockages, speed, stopping distance, precision etc.
