Instrument Calibration

The Iskra MIS Electrical Measuring Laboratory (EML) is a guarantee for our customers, that Iskra MIS electrical measuring instruments are safe, reliable and resistant to environment disturbances according to all applicable standards. Additionally, we can offer you wide variety of different calibrations, according to your needs. The laboratory is located at our production plant Otoče, where we produce our electrical measuring instruments. Our staff has much experience in calibrating electrical measuring instruments. We can offer you certified and un certified calibrations for the instruments in the field of power, energy, photometry, AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, frequency and time. All our activities and calibrations are in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard.

Certified Calibration

The Iskra MIS d.d. Electrical Measuring Laboratory (EML) is certified by Slovenian Accreditation (SA) for calibration of photometric instruments (lux-meters) and electrical power and energy instruments for one- and three-phase electrical systems with working frequencies 50 or 60Hz.

Photometric Quantity
We received conclusion from Slovenian Metrology Institute (MIRS) about recognition of etalon for reference luminance etalon. Reference etalon is composed of etalon of photometric lamps, used for calibration of the lux-meters. Lux-meters are calibrated in special room, used only in this purpose. You can see our photometric laboratory capabilities in the annex to the accreditation certificate.

So if you want your lux-meters to measure luminance properly, you have to calibrate them before – the best at our place.

Power and Energy
The Iskra MIS d.d. EML is certified by SA for calibration of power and energy meters in one and three-phase electrical networks with 50 or 60 Hz frequency.

Uncertified Calibration

Beside certified calibrations we can also offer you wide variety of uncertified calibrations. Because all our activities and calibrations are in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard, we can also guarantee quality metrological traceability for following electrical quantities:

AC and DC Voltage
Our laboratory is capable of AC and DC voltmeters and calibrators calibration. DC voltmeters and calibrators can be calibrated in the range from 1 μV to 1111,111 V. Voltmeters for AC voltage and AC calibrators can be calibrated in the range from 10 mV to 6 kV.

AC and DC Current
Our laboratory is also capable of AC/DC A-meters and calibrators calibration. We can calibrate DC current instruments in the range of 0.1 μA to 100 A and AC current instruments in the range from 10 μA to 1500 A. We can also calibrate currrent AC current transformers from 0.5/5 A to 0.5/1500 A.

DC Resistance
Our laboratory is also capable of DC resistance calibration. We can calibrate resistance meters in the range 10 μΩ to 50 GΩ.

Frequency and Time
Our laboratory is capable of calibrations in the field of time and frequency. So we can calibrate measuring time surveillance equipment, stroboscopes and similar equipment.
